The fixed camera angles, tank controls (optional modern controls included), and pre-rendered backgrounds give it a cinematic, nostalgic feel, while the updated textures, lighting, and the featured considered a must for today’s standards, widescreen support. The addition of Crimson Head zombies adds a terrifying twist that rewards (or punishes) strategic play, this adds some complexity to the game’s combat, which was already very simple in the original title.

There is not a single thing where this remake is bad, at least when it comes to enhancing the original ideas and mechanics of the base game, a true example of how remakes should be done.
